This year, all women of Ukraine received the award named after American Senator John McCain. It was presented to the women of our country, emphasizing that Ukrainian women are an example of courage.
The John McCain Award for Leadership in Public Service is presented annually at the International Security Forum in Halifax to individuals from any country who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership in the pursuit of human justice.
The award was presented by the senator's son, Jack McCain.
